In 1992, Mandometer Treatment for Eating Disorders was founded on the campus of the Karolinska Institute, a premier Swedish university. There Mandometer is part of the Huddinge Hospital, and features inpatient and outpatient treatment, patient apartments and hotel which houses patients and their family members. In Sweden , Mandometer Treatment for Eating Disorders is the standard of care and provides treatment to more than 150 patients each day.
